How does the grill time calculator work?
For grilling, it scales the per-side time by your cut thickness and chosen doneness. For smoking, it multiplies the minutes-per-pound by your meat weight. Both show the target internal temperature.
Why is my cook taking longer than the estimate?
Wind, cold meat, opening the lid and the smoking stall all add time. Always cook to the internal temperature shown, not just the clock.
